Massimo and Max set about achieving their vision for myhomepage in early 2009 by assembling a company of excellent technical experts, advertising gurus and experienced startup executives. myhomepage endeavors to become a leading customizable start page that enables registered users to save, manage and automatically log into their favourite websites.
Integral to the achievements so far has been the fact that the founders extend the hand of friendship as well as camaraderie to all the members of the myhomepage team. The most recent recruit to the team is the London web design agency MintTwist. MintTwist were involved early in myhomepage's story, having been contracted to improve the site design, look-and-feel and usability. Seeing the value that exists within the business, MintTwist were pleased to agree on even closer ties, through becoming equity partners in this business.
Massimo, Max, MintTwist and the rest of the staff members still have a long way to go. And they are under no illusions about the obstacles that lie ahead; first the team must demonstrate there is traction in the application by significantly raising the number of active users that have taken up the myhomepage tool. In the latest twist to their story, the team has now been set the challenge of getting 50,000 new users within just half a year. But as always the two enigmatic founders are unphased - "We will achieve it", they say.
