In fact, using a registry cleaner regularly should improve your softwares speed by decreasing the amount of time the computer spends going through the registry entries, searching for the ones needed to run your programs. If you remove the needless entries, your computer will not need to waste time going through all of those entries that it is not even using in the first place.
All in all, using a registry cleaner is a safe way to clean the unneeded clutter from your computers registry. You will not run into any compatibility issues, as long as you make sure to choose a registry cleaner which is compatible with your operating system. The only issue you may run into as far as software performance is that the registry cleaner might possibly remove an entry you need to run a particular software program and that can be easily fixed.
