You can now obtain an excellent HP Laser Printer without color for about $100 compared to a good ink jet printer without color for about $75. These statistics are presuming you are printing text and not graphics. When you break the numbers down you will notice that it will cost you much more to use an inkjet printer than a laser jet printer. The starting price will be higher for the laser printer but the overall savings in terms of money and time will be significant.
There are also laser jet printers that print in color using the same concept as the laser jet printers that only print in black. These are more costly but for the same reasons mentioned previously they will save you both precious time and money in the long run. It's time to get rid of that old ink jet printer and obtain yourself one of the new laser jet printers.
